St. Louis will enjoy its first Dano Korean Spring Festival, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, 2014.

Dano, also called Surit-nal, is a Korean traditional holiday celebrating the end of the sowing season.  It falls on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar Korean calendar.  Dating from ancient Korea, this is a day of spiritual rites, and enjoyment with song, dance, and wine.
