Chuseok Harvest Festival 2018
Chuseok (추석), originally known as Hangawi (한가위) from archaic Korean language for “the great middle (of autumn),” is a major harvest festival and three-day holiday celebrated in Korea. Occurring on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, Chuseok celebrates the good harvest, when Korean families visit ancestral hometowns, enjoy song, dance, and folk games, and share a feast of traditional food and rice wines.
